Architectural Series Spotlight: Art Deco

Recently, Ferche Millwork briefly introduced the Architectural Series, a professionally designed family of mouldings that coordinate with six distinct styles of décor. We now invite you to learn more about each of the 6 styles of décor, beginning with Art Deco.

Derivative of Incan and Aztec styles, Art Deco is typically recognized by geometric ornamentation and low-relief patterns. Rich color, bold lines, and symmetrical shapes help to brand this style. In many ways, Art Deco design is timeless because of its futuristic characteristics.

Does this sound like your personal décor style? Ferche Millwork has made the process of finding the mouldings best suited for this style easier. Simply follow these steps:

1. Visit your local lumber retailer.

2. Explain you would like the family of mouldings that coordinate with the “Art Deco” style in Ferche’s Architectural Series.

3. You’re done!

It really is that effortless! You don’t have to worry about selecting a group of architecturally correct mouldings because Ferche has completed the work for you! Take a look at the pre-selected family of mouldings for the Art Deco style of décor shown in a quarter-sawn red oak but can be tailored to your taste:
